The project began in 2022 and has rapidly progressed to the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, with the Interim FEED Study due in Q2 2025.

The project enters a crucial phase as the FEED process begins, refining design specifications and validating key technical solutions.

Release of Interim FEED Study (IFS)
Key design and engineering data is consolidated and shared with partners, laying the foundation for final project decisions.
Q4 2025
FEED Completion & Final Investment Decision (FID)
Engineering design is finalised. With risk assessments and commercial terms in place, the project moves into execution.
H1 2026
Site Preparation Begins
Groundwork and utility setup commence, paving the way for large-scale construction activities.
H2 2026
Major Construction of Train 1 Begins
Structural and process infrastructure development kicks off as Train 1 enters active construction.
H1 2027
Mechanical Completion
All systems, structures, and components are installed, ready for final integration and testing.
H2 2027
Commissioning & First Production
Operational readiness checks are completed. TVL enters production, marking a major milestone in Europe's battery materials supply chain.
